The Mayor of Sochi visited the new bridge across the Vostochny Dagomys River.

The bridge, built by ALK++Company, connects two residential neighborhoods in the Vostochny Dagomys Valley. Previously, residents had to cross the river using bypass roads, which washed out during the rainy season. This problem was especially acute for families with schoolchildren and people with limited mobility. The bridge is designed for two lanes of traffic—one in each direction. Sidewalks with vandal-resistant fencing and an outdoor lighting system are included. During construction, slope reinforcement technologies and anti-corrosion treatment of metal structures were used, which is especially important for the humid subtropical climate and saturated groundwater.
